Alice Ruth Richmond
Alice Ruth was born in Indiana to Garfield and Ada (Rowe)Johnson. As a child they located in Scandinavia Wisconsin where she attended school and graduated from High school as valedictorian. She attended college in Stevens Point and Married Frederick H. Richmond, he preceded her in death. They had 4 children, Sue, John (Gail), Jane, and Ann Pisarsky (Matt.) She had a long career with Sentry Insurance in Stevens Point and Atlanta Georgia. Alice took pride in being the first woman to earn both CPCU and CLU insurance designations. She was a talented artist and enjoyed painting and was famous for her portraits as well as later crafting clever gifts for all her Grandchildren. After retirement she traveled throughout the United States with special friend Chuck Clark who also preceded her in death. She was an avid sports fan, cheering on the Packers, Brewers, Falcons, and Braves. Alice loved her time spent in the north woods and Daytona Beach FL. Upon returning to live in central Wis for her remaining years she relished reading non fiction, watching The Ellen Show & MSNBC, and touring around the State as the co-pilot of her daughter Jane's Frontier pick up truck.
She is further survived by Grand children Troy Richmond (Sara), Abby Raykowski (Josh), Kaya Freiman (Mike), Dane Guarino ( Lindsey), Aliece Maedke (Joe), Farryn Guarino (Andy), Selene Guarino (Mike), Laura Bach (Jason), and Ada Richmond. Great Grand children Evan, Mary Alice, Aurelia, Juniper, Zach, Derek, Hunter, Austin, and Morgan, and her beloved extended family Craig,Jill, Amanda & Adam Clark.
