was not to be. So, He put His arms around
you and whispered "Come to Me"."

Eunice was born February 17, 1932 in Plover, Wisconsin to William Robert Brooks and Ona Viola Cater. She graduated from P.J. Jacobs in 1950. After graduating high school, she worked at the Chicago & Wisconsin Telephone Company.
Eunice's first marriage to Alfred Anton Slowinski (of Al's Television and Appliance) resulted in four children- Rhonda Brooks, Lea Beth Cozzetto, Kurt Slowinski and Melissa Brooks. Eunice found true happiness in her second marriage to Florian (Red) Lasecke. They were devotedly married for 30 years.
Eunice was beloved by everyone she met. She was the life of the party- always the one to dance the night away. She was a fun, vivacious and caring woman.
Eunice loved being with people and they loved being with her. While being a deeply committed Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, she somehow made the time make everyone she met truly loved and special.
Eunice loved keeping busy - it was hard to get her to slow down! She loved painting ceramics, golfing, horseback riding, water skiing, bowling, cross country skiing, roller-skating, and dancing.
Eunice spent her last three years under the care of Northridge and NorthHaven Assisted Living Nursing Home.
