Sis was born on December 29, 1926 in Stevens Point, the daughter of William and Alice (Stroik) Leo. She was a 1945 graduate of P.J. Jacobs High School. Sis married E.J. “Pat” Kubisiak on November 22, 1947 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Pat preceded her in death on December 5, 2015. The couple settled in Stevens Point and raised their family. Sis’s mother and father died at a young age, and Sis & her family took the responsibility of raising her younger brother (James) who was age 12 at the time.
Sis worked for Hardware Mutual after graduation, until her marriage in 1947. She also worked at Portesi Pizza, manually wrapping pizzas, but found her being too much of perfectionist, she was not too productive, she stayed on only a few days.
Sis was a stay at home mom and enjoyed decorating for every holiday and occasion. She loved being at home when her kids came home from school. She was a honorary member of the Rosary Society at St. Stanislaus for the past 68 years. Sis also served as an assistant Girl Scout Leader. She was a charter member of the WI River Country Club for 15 years, serving as hostess chairman for the ladies golf league. Sis enjoyed golfing with her friends. She and her husband helped out and participated in mixed couples golfing events at the WI River Country Club. She was also a member of the Stevens Point Country Club and enjoyed her Wednesday Ladies League golfing with friends. Sis and her husband played in numerous Friday night couples events, mixed couples events and Evans Caddie Scholarship Tournaments.
She enjoyed watching sports and loved Brett Favre. She loved to dance and was great at the Jitterbug and old fashioned Rock and Roll. Sis and Pat were regulars at Paul's Bar and Mickey's, they always sat on the last two bar stools near the jukebox. She also enjoyed casino visits with her family, and 1-2 hour daily car rides with her son.
Sis enjoyed spending time and golfing with her family and friends. She golfed until she was 81. As snowbirds, Sis and Pat spent 1 month a year, in Arizona, for 25 years while her family visited them for 2 weeks. They also vacationed in Myrtle Beach and Cancun until age 81.
Sis is survived by her daughter Vicki (Dick) Schultz and her son Mark. Her sister Dolly Miskowski, brother; Gary Leo, Sister-in-law; Leone Clune, and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sis is preceded in death by her husband Pat, her grandson; Brian Keith Schultz; Brother ; Dr. James A. Leo, 2 brothers-in-law; Donald Miskowski and Chester Kubisiak.

Sis’s family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Paul Munck for his guidance, support and excellent health care for Sis and family. The nurses and doctors in the emergency room, 2nd Floor doctors and nurses and CNA’s in her short stay at the hospital. She was treated with dignity, respect compassion and given loving care.
