Visitation Rooms

Our visitation rooms have been tastefully decorated to ensure comfort and serenity at the time of a loss. Designed to be flexible in their use, our visitation rooms can accommodate everything from a traditional period of visitation - to a more contemporary memorial visitation - to a private family service.

Newly Remodeled Entrance We recently remodeled our entrance and installed a handicapped accessible wheel chair ramp.

The rear of our chapel Toward the back of our chapel, we provide a large flat screen television.  This allows our families to have a convenient area to view video tributes of their loved ones.

Small family room In addition to our chairs, there are multiple couches throughout our chapel to give small groups a comfortable setting if they wish to have a more personal moment with one another.

The hallway Our hallway is what connects the entrance of the funeral home to the chapel and is also where the register book can be found. This spacious hallway features four entrances to the chapel, which provides our funeral home with the feeling of openness. This makes problems with congestion of foot traffic little or nonexistent.

Coffee lounge The coffee lounge is located in the basement and serves a multitude of purposes.   If a family wishes to provide snacks or sandwiches, or if anyone wants to grab a refreshing bottle of water or soft drink from the always stocked refrigerator. This room is the ideal place to find a more intimate and quiet atmosphere, especially during an emotionally stressful period.

Dedicated Luncheon Room Shuda funeral home is please to be the only funeral home in the Stevens Point area to offer families a dedicated luncheon room on site. We understand the complications that arise when having a luncheon, whether it's from directions for people out of town or perhaps not having a specific church to eat at.  Regardless of the reason, our luncheon room can comfortably fit over 100 people and it is located conveniently in our lower level.

Urn Selection Room Shuda Funeral Home operates the only crematory in the Stevens Point area and Portage County.  What this means is that the loved ones of our families are handled only by the Shuda staff personally, and never by the staff of another funeral home.   In addition to being the only funeral home operate their own crematory in Portage county. We are please to provide families with one of the largest and a rich variety of urns in the area.

Urn Selection room Our selection room is constantly being updated with new urns.   Along with our urn selection, we also offer a number of cremation services such as the Thumbie program which can provide families with fingerprint keepsakes of their loved ones in a number of jewelry options.

Variety of cremation Urns Along with our high quality traditional urns, we also handle custom urn designs ranging from engravings to custom made pictures on wood urns. Even biodegradable Eco-friendly urns are available. Our staff is dedicated to providing families with options.
