Richard A Rubeck
Richard A. Rubeck, age 68, of Stevens Point, formerly Green Bay, passed away October 9, 2016.
A graveside service with full military honors for Richard will be Wednesday, October 12 at 1:30PM at Guardian Angel Cemetery. Rev. Tom Lindner will officiate.
Richard was born April 9, 1948 in Berwyn, Il to Edward and Ruth (Manning) Rubeck. Richard worked in Green Bay as a field mechanic for 25+ years and was given the nickname "Rubber Duck". Richard's motto was "if I can't fix it, it ain't broke." Richard was a decorated veteran in the United States Navy and served our country as an engineer (E6) from May 1, 1970 until he was honorably discharged November 28, 1974. Richard enjoyed playing crossword puzzles, metal detecting, reading science journals, golfing, and fishing.
Richard is survived by his 2 children: Brad and Stacey Rubeck. 3 brothers: Edward (Mary) Rubeck, Robert (Carol) Rubeck, and Lawrence (Patricia) Rubeck. 2 sisters: Judith Leary and Karen (Michael) O'Keefe, 3 granddaughters and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Joan Rubeck.
