Marilyn and family -we are so sad to hear of Ed's passing. We will always remember our fun times together be it bowling or our crazy New Year Evening parties. Our hearts go out to you. With love and our deepest sympathy.
I worked at the "original" McDonald's in the mid/late 80's while I was in high school as many students did. Ed was a wonderful person to work for. He was kind hearted and understanding of the "high school" student working there. One of the best part of Ed was his memory. My oldest sister worked with him in the mid/late 70's, other sister early 80's and myself mid/late 80's, even after all these years, he knew our names and greeted us as such! That was wonderful. Glad I was a small part of Ed's life, he will be very much missed. Sympathy to his family.
You will be greatly missed by many when I worked for you,you were always a fair and kind boss to many you taught me many things that I will always cherish even though I only worked for you for a short time I learned a lot from you may you rest in peace with Beth and sing beautiful barbershop quartet music in heaven.
Ed was truly a genuine; friendly and talented man. He had the voice of an angel and will surely be singing in the greatest choir of them all. Godspeed Ed! You will be missed.
God our Father,
Your power brings us to birth,
Your providence guides our lives,
and by Your command we return to dust.
Lord, those who die still live in Your presence,
their lives change but do not end.
I pray in hope for Ed’s family,
relatives and friends,
and for all the dead known to You alone.
In company with Christ,
Who died and now lives,
may they rejoice in Your kingdom,
where all our tears are wiped away.
Unite us together again in one family,
to sing Your praise forever and ever.
Amen.
