Condolence: I was so saddened to hear from Kent that that Susie had passed. She was one of my all-time favorite students at Stout going back to the mid-seventies. I had the privilege of knowing her as an undergraduate and graduate, and very briefly as a colleague. At each level, she was truly a remarkable human being; her combination of personal warmth and superior intelligence was evident in everything she did. Her enthusiasm and honest interest in academic issues was something to behold, and inspired those of us who were lucky enough to have her as a student and friend.
My heart goes out to her family and friends as they deal with the grievous loss of such a wonderful and generous spirit.

Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. Susie was a beloved colleague at UW-Stout for many years. I always enjoyed my time with her and appreciated her dedication to making the world a better place for so many people.
